Construction works to date have been mainly focused on site preparation. Below is a summary of the works completed:

• construction site has been secured and fenced off,
• electricity connections have been made,
• existing connections interfering with the underground car park have been partially removed, further work will continue in September/October,
• construction site has been tidied up and preliminary earthworks have been carried out for the installation of slurry walls,
• an access road has been constructed,
• construction site facilities (site office, social and storage containers) have been set in place.

In addition, the following preliminary construction works have been carried out:

• sheet pile walls with ground anchors have been installed
• walls and columns for the underground car park have been partly built
• intermediate floor (underground car park floor slab) is partly finished
• the first working section of the floor above the underground car park is being reinforced (ordinate -0.40)
